Shelly Jackson's piece My Body is a powerful artwork, show casing Jackson's artwork of her body and what her body parts mean to her.
I was particularly impressed by the coding of this piece. Each body part in her drawing is interactive. Clicking on a body part links you to a new page where Jackson explains histories, personal stories, and emotions regarding the respective part.
I found this work to be incredibly courageous. Women's bodies are are common distorted, photoshopped, airbrushed, or hidden. Jackson exposes herself physically and emotionally, allowing the audience to explore her most vulnerable parts with no censorship.
